We'll have your cake ready and boxed for you. Before you head off, take a moment to check it over — if anything isn't right, we'll sort it out on the spot.

Once you've left the store, your cake is in your care.

A few tips to keep your cake looking its best.

• Transport on a flat surface — a car boot or footwell works better than a seat
• Keep away from direct sunlight and heat — avoid leaving it in a parked car
• Drive gently. Sudden stops and sharp corners are a cake's worst enemy
• Get it into the fridge as soon as you can

Fresh cream is delicate — here's how to keep it perfect.

• Fresh cream cakes — best enjoyed within 24 hours, kept refrigerated
• Cheesecakes — up to a week, kept refrigerated
• Please don't freeze unless we've advised otherwise

Fresh cream softens at room temperature — this is the nature of the ingredient, not a fault. Keeping your cake chilled until serving makes all the difference.

If something's wrong with the cake itself — a baking issue, an ingredient problem, or damage from our packing — that's on us, and we'll make it right. Just let us know at collection.
